View Full Version : It's On! Halloween Cosplay Laser Tag Free For All!

10-28-2006, 08:45 PM
All right folks, here's the plan...

Since there was no laser tag after the convention, let's do a Halloween Cosplay Laser Tag Free For All!

Where: Fat City in Littleton, CO. It is located at 9670 W. Coal Mine Ave. Littleton, CO 80123. Mapquest this address (or use another online map search of your choice) to get directions.

When: Tuesday, October 31, 6:00 P.M.-11:00 P.M. (closing time)

Cost: It's usually $4.00 per person per game, but since Halloween falls on a Tuesday this year, they run a special where $10.00 will get you unlimited play in laser tag as well as anything else in the place on Tuesday nights.

I plan on being there...and all cosplayers who are interested in joining me should show up, too!

Look for the stuffed carrot and a sign reading, "Cosplay.com Laser Tag."

Hopefully we can make this a fun gathering for all! ^_^

0hnoz!!!11111 I can't go!! I've already got plans to get totally tanked that night! Woe is me! Laser tag in costume would be so much FUN!! >XD

Aw man! I wish I saw this yesterday!!! D=

I wish you would have, too! Only myself and ONE other person showed! T.T The whole place was DEAD until a little after 9:00 when a few more people showed up! We could've had the run of the entire place to engage in tons of cosplay-laden laser tag (try saying that three times fast!) for the night!

It's understandable on some level: three days before Halloween this idea was conceived, and most people probably already had their plans finalized. Perhaps a little more notice is in order for next time?

Still...couldn't help but feel like the kid who throws the birthday party that no one shows up to. -.-

Any thoughts or suggestions on when we can get this laser tag event underway? Let's hear 'em; I'm curious to know!

On a weekend! Or not during school!

On a weekend! Or not during school!

Seconding both ideas! And then combining them: if during the school year, saturdays. Because the Broncos play sunday. XD

Or perhaps we could aim for winterbreak for poeple who have to worry about school. That way we know that everyone is off and probally doesn't have plans the next day for anything

I would even suggest giving a month's advance notice. Just so people can get the day off and can prep for the whole thing. So people that are getting their costumes worked on can get them done in enough time and not feel rushed.

That would be the best time for all in my opinion

Hmm...if only I'd seen this earlier. The party I went to was a bust. I should definately check this sight more often...

If you do end up doing this over winter break, I /might/ be able to attend... I haven't been to this convention yet, though... I'll probably go next year. xP I live in New Mexico, but I have family in Colorado and I think they would definitely take me. But then again, it depends on what do you do it. xP

I'd SO go if it were over Christmas break, just to get out of the house. I know that CSU's winter break is from 16 Dec-16 Jan so I'm free for basically a month (exept for around the 10th of Jan, and I'll be in Vegas for 3 days :D)

Well then..I say it's time that we begin to discuss this very seriously. There seems to be enough interest behind the idea, hopefully that interest will lead to commitment. I'm all for this and fully commited to helping it get off the ground. If at all possible why don't we start to post the days that would work best later in December for all of us. Based on that alone we can begin to get a date set and just take the next step into getting this idea moving. ^.^ I hope that you all reply to this message soon so that time doesn't run out on us

allright- I know that it's SUPER last minute, but I got official word last night that CSU's anime club, Ramnime, is having a xmas party lasertagging event tomorrow (2 Dec) from Noon-2PM at Fort Fun here in FoCO:

It would be fun to see some online peoples there! ^^

Feh...if only I had seen this post in time. I would have loved to go to that and have some fun. Feh....well just means that we have to get things ready for our laser tag events now. Any one have any specific dates they would like to aim for. Otherwise one will just be picked and that will be the date. Hehe okay maybe not like that. Anyways hope to hear from you all soon ^.^

After finals this week, I'm free every day but the 18th of Dec, and 9-11 and 13th of Jan (Vegas and me sitting on my butt all day watching Hockey Day in Candada XD). Even if there's the chance of only 2-4 of us showing up, I'd still think that it'd be fun to plan.

Also, try posting this on the NDK forums!
