Hi! I'm rather new and I was wondering if anyone could give some tips and ideas for an Izumi Curtis costume...I'm planning on growing my hair out first so i have plenty of time to put something together....unfortunatly my budget will be rather small. Anyone have ideas for the costume as a whole?

When creating any costume make sure that you equipment is in good condition. sometimes it doesn't hurt to ask fabric stores that teach classes for advice in doing any type of costume or clothes. most will be willing to assist you or give ypu advice in what needs to be done. But some costumes may not need alot of sewing because they mabeable to be bought as regular clothes.

Hooray for Izumi!

Okay, I know they're bad pictures, but they're from a Halloween party. My friend pulled together Izumi.

Basically what we did was get an oversized white button shirt [man's], black pants [we used loose ones, but Izumi's are tight], and sandals. For her hair, we made a bazillion tiny braids that we pulled up, and we drew on the symbol.

I give crappy advice...Meh. :]
