I was thinking to try a Larxene cosplay over the winter so I'd have something to do.. I just have a few issues:

1. I have short blonde hair, so I could slick it back pretty easy, but how do I make my hair do that .. anntenae thing or produce that effect?

2. What material should I use for the clothes? I've seen a lot of people use a leather-ish material or one of those shiny ones, but I'm afraid that it'll be hard to sew and I'm not an expert yet.. would something simpler like broadcloth work or just look abysmal?

3. Does anyone have any good reference pictures? I cant find any! :chatah:

I wouldn't suggest broadcloth, it's too cheapo and it would hold up to the giant zipper of doom. Try looking through a store with good fabrics to find a nice, thick black cotton...nothing with too much texture on it. As for the antenna thingies, if you have really short hair maybe you could find those little extension thingies (the cheap Claire's kind) that match your hair color, and clue a length along a wire, so you can't see the wire, then attach it underneath the hair with barrettes or something...you get what I'm saying, don't you? And slick your hair on top over the barrette thingies...

Use Got 2 Be Glue spike gel it will keep your hair gravity defying and add the wire for drying support.

There's a topic floating around the first few pages of this forum that is called like the Kingdom Hearts Resource Guide or something like that.

Has tons of KH images, some nice ones of Larxene.

Hmmm I'll try looking for a cotton material.. still not very sure I could slick my hair over the barrettes, but it seems a good idea ^^

Try a heavy twill or bottomweight, if you're absolutely against leather/pleather.
