I wish I was able to get my karaoke tracks on time. I deeply regret it now. *sighs*
I'm curious to know if anyone else besides myself missed out on the competition simply because I couldn't find anyone Saturday morning. There was no indication that there were people waiting to participate in the lobby where they said to meet, nor anywhere else I could think of looking.
I was seriously looking forward to competing and was VERY dissapointed in this seeming lack of organization.

Lack of sign-age for this event was a factor that I will make sure to remedy next year.
As for not knowing where to go: I'm pretty sure in any email I sent out to people in J-Star I stated that it'd be held on the Main Stage [Plaza Ballroom] in the DoubleTree, which is on the second floor.
Everyone who ended up competing wandered into the ballroom some time around 9:30 - 10:00am, and I was doing sweeps of the upper lobby to see if I could catch any stragglers.
I was aware of where it was being held. As I said in the Teahouse thread I was up in that area TWICE before 9:45, checked the ballroom doors which were LOCKED when I tried them, and the only people around seemed to just be hanging around with friends.
I'm sorry if my phrasing seems somewhat venomous, but I really am not very pleased.

There were three doors leading into the room. It seemed that the only ones I could manage to stay open myself were the ones at the very end of the hall [entrance C I believe]. I was a bit o_O? myself when I first walked around there, but after goign all the way around doors were dicovered.
