Luneth help!

Hi! i'm attempting to get together a cosplay of Luneth (final fantasy 3 ds) , but what im kinda entirely lost on is the belt vest thingy he wears. my friend tells me its called a "curias"sp?

no amount of telling him its a belt vest thingy makes it less confusing to make. i was wondering if anyone out there had any ideas...

vinyl for the belt vest thingy

It's a vest. With belts.

Therefore, a "belt-vest thingy" is a perfectly valid name. :3 I suggest you go with vinyl or pleather for it, and I know there are a few sites that sell custom big buckles. You'll want to do the vest in several layers.

From inside to outside:

1. Lining.
2. Layer of thin quilt batting to give it a little definition.
3. Flat layer of whatever fabric you will be using for the shell.
4. Add "belts" over this.
