Help Me?

So...My name is Sebastian, I'm a huge undercover dork. Normally I wouldn't think of doing this sort of stuff considering my friends will not go near this sort of crowd, when I dressed up in a shinigami costume for Halloween they thought I was a priest :-P But I've made a few new friends, and I think I finally want to do a cosplay.

Problem - I don't know who to cosplay.

Well, I've read through the FAQs, and all of that business, but I really want a character that I have similarities to physically, maybe some personality too X-P Not exactly looking for a twin though. Anyways, I'm 13 and about 171 centimeters tall - for those not savvy with the metric system, that's pretty typical 13 year old boy height. I weigh in at something around 107 pounds, below are some pictures for referenceee.

I just want suggestions, no lectures on how I should pick it out on my own please or how it doesn't matter :)

But I digress, if you wish to stick with the shinigami motif, you could pull off a very convincing Hanatarou.

dude...you look cool...I dunno, you could cosplay as pretty much anything!! I dunno what the one thing your friends thought was a monk is but I think you could make a good Sora from KH or Cloud Strife...or maybe even Zak from FFVII

What difficulty costume are you looking for?
An L from deathnote is fairly simple, I myself am working on a deathnote cosplay as Ryuuk
But i think mentalstrike is right, you have the ability and face structure to do pretty much anything...
How in depth do you want to go?

Thank you for all the criticism. And the handshake. I failed to notice the "Who Do I Look Like" thread thingy, and I apologize :'( But, thank you again for commenting.

I'm a little worried about height for certain characters, so I want to stick as a little boy-teenage cosplay, Hanatarou sounds like fun, and I'm starting to think of possibly going as Luffy. I'm looking for an intermediate cosplay anyways, I want to have some fun with it and take my time on the costume.

Hm...characters that come to mind for the typical 13-year old type rings like Sora, Roxas, Riky, Edward, and Naota. another person who comes to mind *looking at my Bleach #4* is the Quincy Archer Uryu Ishida.

I can't think of any characters that you resemble right now...but the next time you post a thread like this, I think you'll get the best response if you took a nice, straightfoward shot without making any faces. That way we have a clear image of what you look like.
And no hat too, we'd be able to see what your hair looks like allot better.
Also, a straighfoward shot of the back of your head (have a friend do this) would be helpful. To see more of what your hair is like, I mean.

Don't worry about it. I just have a very limited amount of pictures on the computer, only found one without a hat.

X-P My face gestures are inevitable, I can't take my face seriously in a mirror.

I can take some more when I get my hands on a digital camera, those are a few months out of date anyways and my hair grows rapidly. Thanks again for the criticism.

You could just completely ignore who you look like and go for a character you like. I think that's what everyone that doesn't even remotely look like an anime character does.

The one that suggested Hanatarou is right.

Just go through the Shinigami and look for one that looks like you, if you wanna stick with that. Or look at other animes you're familiar with and look for other round-faced dark-eyed ones.
