Nickelodeon got their hands on the new Speed Racer! It premieres August 25th.
Also, a Live Action movie of Perfect Blue is coming out August 24th in Japan.... ::is all ready to import DVDs or find a fansub::

The actress is not as endowed as the anime character, that I can see. ;)
Seriously, I don't think there is a need for a live action, they should just come up with NEW ideas instead of recycling old ones. X__ X The anime was /so/ good, and anime as a medium really brought up the unreality of the theme...

Yeah, but I've argued with people forever that it could be easily done as a Live Action and released in America and it would kick ass! Well it's live action now, it's not really in america, but who cares! I'm an obssessed freak! ::points at username::
