Since the new movie came out, I've ben doing Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter. For the movie, I didn't really want to do the dark mark on him, but for the book I wouldn't mind having it, just because...it is Draco... Anyway, I need to figure out the best way to do the dark mark (expecially since I'm left handed and it goes on my left arm...so it's going to be hard to get on there...) AND I need a good reference picture. Help me? ^.^ Please!?

I do temporary tattoos :D *shameless plug*
But maybe get a friend to draw it on?

That might work, but I'm looking for a more....perminant but not forever perminant way to do it (no matter how cool that would be, my mom would never go for it)...

Even if you can't find a reference picture, just remember that it's a snake coming out of a skull's mouth (regardless of what the movie showed). Make up your own design if you cannot find any good references.
Try permanent marker. It'll stay on for a few days if you set it with a light powder on top, and it washes away with rubbing alcohol.

Normally in the past I would have used permanent marker but the ink can sweat off and ruin clothes and bed sheets >_< what I use now is waterproof liquid eyeliner last the whole day but if want to not have to retouch it for a couple of days I recommend M.A.C Liquidlast liner or Liquid eye liner.

i suggest eye liner pencil. the liquid stuff is a ba*tard to put on (for me anyways) and pencil seems to stay on quite well. also good if you havent got a steady hand (also like me XD)

I believe that at least one volume has a picture of the Dark Mark and at least the back of "Half-Blood Prince" has it too (a bit skewed though). I second waterproof eyeliner/mascara. It comes off with make-up remover.

My one problem now is that I can't draw with my right hand...I'm left handed. What can I do about that?

Well another solution is tattoo paper
http://forums.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=89828
a bit more expensive but it takes the guess work out of applying the tattoo.

Well here’s the only other quick and dirty solution Clear Sticker Project Paper
http://www.avery.com/us/Main?action=product.Details&catalogcode=WEB01&node=10210893&productcode=4383
It will give you the illusion of a tattoo and you can buy it from most office supplies store but other then having some one draw it on that’s all I’ve got.

Ah ha!! I want to thank you all for your great suggestions, but my roommate discovered a better and semi-easier way (ok maybe not easier...how about more perminant way..) to do this....henna. We found a 7 dollar henna kit at Borders where you just paint it on and ta da! It stays on for about 4 weeks (longer if it's treated right)

I used a Copic Multiliner for mine. It only needed touching up once throughout the day I wore it, and that's just because I'm a perfectionist. As well, as long as you don't scrub it down with soap, water pretty much just runs right off of it. I had mine on for two days with no problems.
As for ref pictures, I used two but I can just give you the image I drew on my arm.
As for being left handed, I think the best option would be to get someone to draw it on for you.
Here's mine:

You can also simply buy Dark Mark temp tattoos. They're online at Whimsic Alley, the price is about $3 for two IIRC. Mine lasted three days.

eh, henna?
And there is colored henna, though it sometimes starts to lose some of the "all-natural" tag that makes henna appealing in the first place. Unless you have a stencil, you would probably need someone's help to apply it, but it will last for quite a while.

Ah, I was going to suggest henna, too. It lasts about a week...

I actually ended up trying henna for the book release and it worked wonderfully, I actually ended up tracing a pattern onto tracing paper and then transferring the pencil lightly onto my arm. After that, I just went over it with the henna.
