Persuasive Essay - We do this for fun.

Hey everyone. I'm sitting in English class working on a persuasive essay. My persuasion that I am trying to persuade is on the topic of crossplay of course. "Men crossplayers should be treated the same as women crossplayers." Basically, trying to shoot down the double standard. I know within our of groups we could care less, but when we meet that random person at a convention that goes off on someone, it can be scary. I have seen women crossplayers treated poorly also, so this essay won't be one sided. So the topic will be more like, "We aren't perverts, we just do this because it's fun." If you have any ideas or suggestions on what should be included, please reply. :p

Art is self expression...

...Art is always accepted as long as it's LABELED ART, though it's popularity is increases the more contraversal it gets...

...crossplay is a form of self-expression... Therefore ART!

... why does a celebration of a person's favorite character bring a discriminating glare because of thier sex, when they are merely being having fun with art?
