Need skit ideas for cosplaying risa and riku harada

My friend and i are cosplaying riku and risa harada at tora-con this year. We need an idea for a skit. We had a few ideas but we've dedcided that they aren't very good. Can anyone help us out?

Maybe you should post what you have so far so that people can see what can be improved and they can suggest a few things if possible. It's pretty hard for someone to come up with a skit thematic for you like this.

Like Satsukina said, it's easier to help you expand on ideas you already have rather than come up with entire new ones.

We don't have any progress yet. We've been trying to come up with something for a few months now, and the only thing she and i can think of is singing a couple of wishes or learning the dance to the hare hare yukai. but so far we only have progress on a couple of wishes.

we also thought of doing a song from avenue q with risa annoying riku but i'm not sure how well that would work. also we considered singing their song 'futatsu no negai' but we arent sure we want to sing in front of everyone

I personally don't want to sing in front of anyone. But we need to figure out something to do. We had also considered at one point to have them fighting over who was better dark or daisuke.

that might be a last resort though. we were hoping for something a bit more original, that can make people laugh or get their attention.

This song would be perfect; I'm surprised you two didn't notice this post. And for songs, you don't have to sing them live. Pre-recorded audio is best.

i saw the post but i've never heard the song. Does anyone have a site that i can go listen to it on?
We're still working on costumes at this point in time to. We have a basic costume we're just doing finishing touches.

I don't reccomend Hare Hare Yukai Dance or Avenue Q, because its always overdone.

Maybe you can start mimiking each other and acting goofy with some kind of plot to go with (which I have no clue for this since I never watched DNAngel).

Even if they're very different, they're still twins. You can also use the same gestures or say the same thing at the same time but you actually mean different things without knowing it. For the same thematic, one thinks of Dark, the other thinks of someone else. (I dropped DNAngel a long time ago but I remember Riku isn't very fond of Dark. xD The perv...) Gah I don't really know how to explain it. xD

Or if you'll be using wigs, then you can trade. Riku used a wig to look like Risa and Risa used a wig to look like Riku in one of those episodes. You can be mocking each other. Well without wig exchange, it could work as well.

Actually it's kinda funny but we do that anyway. We're not related or anything but some how we're on the same wave length. It's really funny when you have the two of us together thinking the same thing with two different meanings.

yeah we say the same thing a lot..and people mistake us for twins as it is..we have actually passed for each other too..we arent using wigs since she just cut her hair and i have the right length hair for risa..but that really sounds like a good idea.

Try looking up "White Christmas Sister, sister" on youtube. Scroll past the twisted sister entries and find the one with the two blonde women in it. That's the song I suggested.

what do people think of a skit where risa chases riku with make-up or something girly and then they end up showing 'ninja skills' or something... i thought of this one night when we were sword fighting but i dont know what other people would think of it...

I remember that. That was funny. How far did i run from you? About 15 feet i think it was. BUt that would be fun to do. Lets think on it a little more. we still have a month untill the con.

... Why not do something involving the Tarot cards? Like... Risa is doing a reading, and the Riku comes up and remarks on how stupid the whole thing is. Then whatever Risa predicted comes true.

Risa: ... And then Dark-kun chases Rangiku Matsumoto across the stage?
*Walks up* Riku: You don't really believe that stuff works, right?
*Rangiku runs across the stage with her arms over her chest, screaming about perverts.*
Risa: I told you it was real!
Riku: Well then, where's Dark the pervert?
*Dark walks onstage, looks around.* Dark: Have you seen-
*Point in the direction that Rangiku ran off in* Risa/Riku: She went that way.

At that point, Dark would run offstage after Rangiku and Risa would probably make a face at Riku before jumping up and following him. Then the lights could go down and it would be over.

Albeit, this would only work if you had a willing Rangiku, a willing Dark Mousy and a set of Tarot cards. But, of course, Clow Cards work just as well. I always thought Risa's cards looked like those stupid Clow cards anyway.

thats a cute idea^^ i dont think we have other cosplayers, but we may have to do a crossover and drag some friends into it. we dont know what they are doing yet as their cosplay. either way i think we are loud enough to do that

Perhaps a "He Loves Me, He Loves you Not" kind of thing. You could easily make each sister sing a stanza when they are fighting over someone. Be is Daisuke or Dark whatever you prefer. Since one loves one yet they love the other.

hmm that sounds like a good idea but i am pretty sure riku has made up her mind not to sing ^^; so it looks like a non singing skit is in order for us..
