birthday masquerade question

Hi, everyone! I'm new here but I figured I'd consult ya'll for help on my birthday plans. Next year I've decided to have a masquerade ball for my eighteenth birthday and I need some good ideas for themes, decorations, costumes, etc. I'm totally stuck! Anyway, thanks ya'll.

you can do a japanese them their is a place called japanesegifts.com that sell things that would be good for a theme. and if you like the japanese culture as much as i do. then go for it I plan on it.
