Anime Central Comes to Ani-Magic!

In my neverended quest to upstage O.J. Simpson and establish the ultimate Dream Team, the Ani-Magic Operations Department is pleased to annouce the participation of Mr. Michael A. Fontes.

Mr. Fontes recently served as the Assistant Director of Con Ops for Anime Central 2003. There, he oversaw the smooth operation of multiple departments within a hectic 6,100 person convention! Mr. Fontes brings with him considerable experience in anime fandom and anime conventions since 1987. He will be serving as an Operations Consultant within the staff of Con Ops, and will be providing considerable input and assistance with various matters.

Mr. Fontes is a California native, and this will be his second Ani-Magic. His webpage is http://www.raider3.com/ and he posts to cosplay.com as Raider3.

Wow, I just read this moments ago! (Though I knew it for at least a few weeks.) :bashful:

Well, I guess this is confirmation enough, so I'll start getting in contact real soon, or at least standing by for more info over the next few weeks.

This should not be a problem for me, having come from a larger convention, and as I like to state, I always like to give something back to fandom! :)

I hope my experience will prove helpful to Ani-Magic for this year, and hopefully, years to come.

(Hmmm.. Upstaging O.J. Simpson? I dunno about that. I do drive a white truck-like vehicle, but I've been know to exceed the speed limit at times, and, unlike O.J., well... you know the story... Don't expect me to do corny rhymes like Johnnie Cochran, though, that sort of thing just isn't my bag, baby!)
