Hey all. I'm from southern Asia and greet all of you guys. Found the website quite by accident and liked what i saw here as a guest visitor. So decided to join. A very huge anime fan and have had the long standing desire to have my own costumes for my fav chars. hats off to the stuff you guys have made for ureselves. its awesome. :bigtu:

Thanks a lot. lol, to be honest i usually go by my alias Rambo or Rounin, but i couldnt get it here. it was taken. :( so i decided to use the alias of a member from another forum cause i loved his. hence my alias here. hehe
making costumes is gonna be a bit easier for me cause i have help. I own a workwear garment manufacturing unit and export the stuff to europe etc. So i have plenty of good tailors who can help me out with stitching, since i havent really sewn before. :) i was actually trying to make the captain's robe of byakuya from bleach and kinda failed miserably. So,one of my employees said that it failed cause i didnt have a pattern to guide me with the measurements and something called " the way a stitched garment falls". So i am gonna ask for help in the bleach cosplay forum i think. and ive rambled on. hehe sry. oh, can i add u to my friends list (if thats possible? i havent checked out all the features of my acocunt yet. :D )

i love bleach, naruto, devil may cry, HSD Keiichi(which is a personal fav. and im quite disappointed that they arent coming out with another season. :mad: ) oh well. i also hate admitting this to people, but i love anime like love hina and lovely complex and all. (something to do with the hair on my chest, as my sis puts it. hehe )
but i really hate anime which have sad endings... in the sense that the main chars don't get together and live happily ever after. for instance, i loved fate stay night, till i saw the last episode and they parted. i reallllly hated it then and havent been able to bring myself to see it again. :) oh can i add u too?

I think it's really important for everyone to have help when they first start cosplaying. I know I never could have gotten where I am today without my mother (and grandmother) helping me out, encouraging me to sew and be creative when I was little. Even simple sewing instructions can be very confusing without basic guidence to start out with. ^_^

You own a garment manufacturing unit? Very nice! And having tailors who can help you out is just perfect! No worries about your first cosplay, most cosplayers I know (myself included) weren't thrilled with how our first one turned out either. XD After that though, everything really improved!
