Thursday Night

So this year, me and my friends have decided to stay thursday night, as well as the regular friday and saturday night! As far as I know, the only thing going down thursdya night is pre-reg. Besides that, does anyone know if anything else is going down? Who else plans on staying thursday night? Anyone interested in meeting up for dinner???

There's usually some sort of "preparation party" Thursday night in case it's your first con, I believe.

The only things I'm doing Thursday night are getting my pass, registering my weapon, crossplaying as Selphie Tilmitt, and hanging out in the hotel rooms with my friends.

Last year after we got our passes we chilled in the lobby til like 4-5am and probably will end up doing the same thing this year XD

I'm happy I convinced my mom to let me stay Thursday night for AN 09. I hope Thursday night will be a good time to meet and actually be able to talk for a long period of time with other con-goers.

Well last year there was some twister etc if I remember correctly at the DT... So I guess they will talk about it again just in a couple of months or so, though personnally I plan to take pictures, perhaps a photoshoot, go get my pre-reg tickets, and more than likely just hang out with some people at some hotel for the evening/night (wow, specific neh? XD).
Though I plan to go to bed before 7AM, otherwise I won't be able to get up the next morning, and I have to get my cosplay on too, which may take a while!

I have my room already booked for it, it saves a ton of time instead of having to wait in the Friday line-up. That and the socializing at little events on Thursday are a bonus too. Not to mention when you get a bunch of cosplayers together to do last minute work on outfits is fun too, passing on little tips or unique ways of doing stuff is fun too ^_^, not to mention early parties lol.

I'm not going Thursday this year- personally it doesnt really matter to me because all we did was hang around like most people are saying here. (will also save some money to only have to pay for 2 nights).

I believe our group will be there on Thursday night - so you might see us pop in somewhere if anything's happening. They mentionned wanting to practice the skit and stuff during that night, i'll probably be watching XD..

ill be there Thursday night with my people so hopefully we will find something to do that day since ill be driving from Ottawa to Toronto

There's a lot of stuff to do if you have a car and money. Downtown, Chinatown, Pacific Mall, Restaurants.

We do hold a Thursday Night PJ Party, which is pretty much a cosplay excuse, but in pj form ^.^

Hoping to get a room for it this year, so we can watch movies and such, which means I need to get my arse in gear and get planning.

We also encourage others to add onto this event, even if it is not PJ related. A photoshoot gathering with it as well? Why not! The Thursday peeps need to gather and socialize and have fun while we wait for Friday to roll around ^.^
