My friend and I were planning on going to this. However, due to the fact that we're both without licences. And no one wants to take us because (unlike us lazy kids) they have jobs and can't. We both live in Escondido, which is about a 20-25 minute drive north of San Diego (maybe even a little less). We really want to go. We can't go Thursday, but Friday is a possibility. And Saturday would be...well, perfect. We just need a ride to the convention center and back (to where we live).
