The main cosplay guest this year will be Pikminlink. She is known for her superb Link cosplay, from the nintendo game Legend of Zelda. If her net name doesn't ring a bell, i suggest you go see her pages:

She wil be coming with her parents. Her parents also have a great interest in cosplay, mainly to take pictures. they run a site called Consplayer.com. they have created a team of photographers to cover the cosplay side of many conventions in america. they also have a deviantart account and a professional page:

But, for her to come, i had to negotiate with the programming coordinator. Since Pikminlink is at university, the finances of her family is quite tight, Otakuthon would have to pay for the whole trip (plane tickets and the hotel) for her and her two parents. But, here is the catch, the Moonrose team and me, have to raise money to cover up between 25-50% of the money to make her come here. So we thought of doing a cosplay bowling to raise that money. the date hasn't been decided yet for the event. the event would be open to all the community, the more the merrier.
We think to make the cosplay bowling in march. Date is not settled yet.
