METROCON 2009 Cosplay Challenge!

We are proud to bring you a cosplay event that's new for METROCON 2009 - Cosplay Challenge!

Do you have skills in designing and making costumes? Can you work on a deadline? Can you work with people watching you? If so, then read on and see if you are up for the 2009 Cosplay Challenge!

THE CHALLENGE:

Three (3) teams will build costumes at the convention in front of a live audience! To have your team be selected to participate submit an original redesign of any anime or video game character with a Steampunk twist. The top three (3) selected to compete at the convention will receive a regular weekend pass for METROCON 2009, the costumes will have a walk on during the Cosplay Carnivale, and the winning team will receive the $100 grand prize plus two (2) VIP tickets to METROCON 2010.

Entrants in this contest are still able to enter in the Cosplay Carnivale too! So you don't have to pick one or the other :D
