Hi everyone,
I'm sure a thread similar to this has been posted but I can't find one. So, please direct me in that direction if there is. Thank you.

Anyway, I need to know how to straighten kanekalon fibers without damaging them. Thanks a bunch to all that reply :)

You need to use a hot water method.

Basically you put a the wig on a wig head or other base to keep the fibers going in the right way, though this isn't a necessity.

You'll need to heat water near boiling, so basically really really hot, then pour the water over the wig.

There are a few methods on how to do it:

With straightener (http://www.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=135685)

With blowdryer (http://www.godsavethequeenfashions.com/How_to_Straighten_a_Wig.html)

Hot water method (http://www.pettingzoowigs.com/wigtutorial_straightening.html)

I've used a straightener/flat iron on some of my wigs and they came out just fine, no melting/frizzing. Just make sure you are able to turn it to the lowest setting, and make sure to test out a little bit of hair on the underside of the wig in case that setting is too hot.
