i dont have a good picture of my hair buuut.
it reaches the bottom of my back. strait cut at the bottom. dark brown, very thick, yet fine so it doesn't like to stay put. ponytails fall out very easily.

heres the best picture of my bags.

Even if you're wearing a hat, you still have to do your hair under the hat to look nice. It all depends on your hair type and length, and what you can and want to do with your hair. There's a bunch of stuff on hairstyles in the EGL Memories (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=egl&keyword=Gothic+lolita+beauty&filter=all), why not go through them and see if there is anything that you like for your hair type and length. If not, try looking at some hairstyles in the Avant Gauche (http://www.avantgauche.co.uk/Gallery/index.html) galleries to see what you like and might want to do to replicate a style seen in a photo.

Weird, I could have sworn I posted here.. maybe it didn't take. I think long dark hair looks great in large loose curls. Example!

Why not just let your hair hang straight without doing anything to it? If you have slight curls to your hair (which you kinda seem to have from your pics) you could use a straightener to straighten it first, then use some hairspray to keep it from frizzing/moving about too badly.
Otherwise I'd tie your hair into one large braid. These seem to be the easiest solutions to me XD

What I would do is wash your hair, put it in a loose braid, and let dry. Take it out of the braid and you'll have some pretty, loose waves. I think it would look adorable with that hat!
