ohhh yes, i agree, even though i liek the skyline's, i liek my pure japanese muscle....the RX-7. But isnt that Splinter Treno Apex( the white ghost car) the coolest. i mine, if you can make a car that good, and its crapy to begen with, thats good. Its liek the video clip i have of a dodge neon beating a dodge viper in a drag race. Both sreet cars.

Heh you think thats somthing. i have seen a dodge Minivan Whup a new Camaro. LOL humbled by a Grocery getter.
BTW the minivan did 13.5 @ 119mph

Umm I havent been keeping up with Initial D but I was wonderin if you guys knew when and if the English Dub will come out? My boyfriend LOVES import cars and I thought this anime would awesome for him!
BTW are there any Integras in Initial D? Ok thanks

breezy - the dub will suck, all the names are being changed
However, it should be out in a few months. And the only Integras in the series, are in the manga, they all appear after the movie(last installment for now)
There is a turbo integra with a carbon fiber hood that runs against Keisuke on the uphill in the manga although it will probably be animated in 4th Stage.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. It's all about the 85 Levin. GO ITSUKE!!! hahaha... I really don't have a favorite car in the series, in the game mine is the S2000, but it's not in the anime nor the series to the best of my knowledge. I guess it'll have to be the Trueno. :)

I like all the cars in Ini D,except the Civic. however the car i like the most has to be a tie between teh RX-7 FC3S and FD3S.

Skyline GTR.. I actually went to 2 Fast 2 Furious in theaters just to see the skyline. mmm what a sweet car.

AAAHHH BLACK SKYLINE GT-R!!!! :D I didn't really like Nakazato that much (or any of the Night Kids for that matter -- I am a Redsuns fan!) but I love Skylines... ^________________^...

i'd like to see that clip. send it over my way thru AIM if u can. and i'd like to know whether or not both were stock and what year the models were. because stock per stock, not even a stock new Dodge Neon (SRT-4 which is turbocharged) can hold a candle to a stock Dodge Viper (SRT-10) in the 1/4 mile.

i would also like to see a clip of this if u can provide one. a Dodge minivan doing a 13.5 in the 1/4 mile is unheard of unless it was turboed or supercharged to at least 12psi. i would also ask the same question if both cars were stock. and what were the model and the year makes of both cars. if the Camaro was an SS, i doubt a stock Dodge minivan can even keep up with it.
what u folx hafta understand is that ANY car can beat ANY other car, given the time, resources and money to modify it.

I have the ultimate clip ever, Its of a Mustang GTR! its equiped with rotary and pistons.:D its on this one dvd my friend got called mischeif 3000 about the gumball 300 race. Most funny clip ever.

Your telling me? i live in california, and all i see are Friggin Civics,hatchbacks, sedans>.< and a good 50% are riced up.Unriced Civics dont annoy me as much as the riced ones. As far as the riced ones goes, 99% of the time they are so horridly done its like wtf are they thinking.

ANYWAY!! On the back, it has a picture of a tachometer, and it says "The Rotary engine spins at 9,000RPMs"

yeah,Im so so about the RX-8. I know Mazda speed already got a turbo in it, But i really want Mazda to bring back the 7,or atleast a modified design of the FD as the RX-9 or something. Because the RX-8 isnt having that GGRRRR im going to rip you to shreads factor our friends the FC and the FD had,and for that matter other great cars such as the Skyline R-34,and the Supra. Please Mazda for the love of god Bring back teh Hardcore l337 J sports car.
and while im at it, Toyota Bring back the Supra please, The Celica just isnt cutting it with the 350Z out there!

The RX-8 is a very nice car indeed. I was asking one of the mazda salesmen about the RX-7, noticing the gorgeous toy model of it on his desk, and told him it was one of my affrodable dream cars. He laughed and said that a brand new one would still go for 40 thousand. First, what does he take me for? Does he really think I was expecting to buy an RX-7 for 10 bux? I think 40 thousand is an affordable dream car, plus brand new? I thought they stopped making them unless you have a million bux to reproduce one...he's messing with my brain. I thought the only thing possible is to either buy one in mint condition off autotrader for 28 000, or tofind one in a junk yard and revive it.
I've got ricers all over my stupid neighbourhood. I hate it here. These guys make their civics sound like go karts, plus none of them really know anything about taking apart the car or anything. They just know that it looks pretty, although sometimes they just look plain horrid. I probably know more about cars than they do and I didn't learn much in auto tech other than welding frames together.
Dude... The_Box... it's like you're stealing my thoughts. Honda Civics, RX-8, hate of hatchbacks, Supra.... starting to freak me out ^__^;

HarukaTenoh:the dude was screwing around with you,the only way you can get a brand new RX-7 is if you live in Japan. the last year of the RX-7 in the states is 1995 and that was in very limited quantities(by this time mazda was getting reamed for the flaws in the Fd,particularly the 93 model). However they Just only stopped producing the RX-7 in japan in 2001. Ive seen FD's go as low as 13k on Autotraider,honestly not bad for a dream car,but with rotary you have to be in it for the long haul, But with some TLC and all the relablity mods, they can be very good cars ive read. honestly i wish i could afford one,and give it some nice TLC. cause there really bad ass cars.id much rather see another FD on the road,than another boring riced Civic.
Umi. Sorry for freaking you out.^_^; Glad to see another person who apricates the Rotary goodness and wanting toyota's lazy ass to bring the Supra back.

Bwhahah I remember that. Is that a special edition? Yeah yeah, 2000 special edition. Hehehe, I would love to see his reaction if he ever saw that dvd.
The Skyline R32 GT-R is my favorite (the song just helps its evil presence so much), just a shame the driver isn't the worlds best.
The FD3S Rx-7s are sweet. I tried racing one in my stock Prelude and got smoked bad ^^; the Rx-8s do look a lot better in person but just those rear doors throw off the sporty image for me. Personally, that front bumper makes the RX-8 look a little too... happy.

I love The Skyline also,its a bitching Car, especally the GTR R34 V-SPEC II. and I curse Nissan every day for not bringing em here, But hey we got the G35 coupe(i know its not a true skyline) and if they ever get up off there asses and make an Skyline GTR35 they better damn well bring it here.
i havent seen an RX-8 in person,id imagine much like the Evo-8 it looks better in person, But still it doesnt have that presence the FD had.
I saw the RX-8 at a MazdaSpeed event... er... It looks a little weird especially near the front end tires. It's not really my cup of tea.

On the subject of Nakazato,i dont think he's a bad driver at all, aparently he was really good with the S13, but then after he got the Skyline,he put all his relence in the cars power and not his own skill,which is why he sucks so badly in the series.i Find it funny, because the way they set him up in the series is like hes some Super badass. But he always looses.

I just didn't like Nakazato cuz he cept losing :( He just keeps losing and losing and losing and losing... he should just give up his car to me... hehe.
I actually seen a "Mustang GTR". It had four GTR emlems around it. Its times like that that I wish I had a R34 GT-R and show them what GT-R really is. But then again, its no 'Special edition rotary engine with pistons' hehe.
Initial D gave me more respect towards the Trueno. I know its not a miracle car (I would love to see someone be able to drift with his eyes closed while lighting a cigerette) but I've taken a charm to the look now. Overpriced though o.o
