Ceci est la discussion officielle de l?aire de session de photographie.

Une place ouverte pour les sessions de photographie est prévue dans la
salle d?exposition. Des créneaux horaires sont à la disposition des
groupes voulant se rencontrer, s?organiser et poser pour tous afin de
prendre des photos. Cette aire est aménagée pour les gros groupes
cosplayant un thème particulier et elle contient assez d?espace pour
tous ceux qui voudront prendre des photos.

Qu?est-ce qui fait que le studio soit aussi spécial? Vous aurez accès
à une grande place avec des lumières et un fond, vous donnant des
photos exceptionnellement claires en plus de l?option d?être inclus
sur le CD officiel des photos d?Otakuthon!

Pour faire la réservation d?un créneau horaire (30 minutes), postez
une requête ici.

Une copie de l?horaire sera imprimée et à la disposition de tout le
monde lors du festival!

This is the official Open Photoshoot Area Reservations Thread.

The Exhibition Hall will include an open photoshoot area with time
slots available for groups to meet, setup, and pose for all to take
pictures. This open area is for large groups cosplaying in a related
theme with plenty of space for anyone to shoot photos.

What makes the studio so special? You'll get access to a big area with
lights and background, giving you exceptionally clean photos plus the
option to be included on the official Otakuthon pictures CD!

To make a reservation for a time slot (30 minutes), post a request here.

A copy of the schedule will get printed out and posted at the
convention for everyone to see!

Hi Sephilia, I do appologize and I will book you right away! Thanks BOTH your requests. The Otakuthon staff will be selling the disk. They have not given me details on how many of your pics I take of you will be on the disk. I will try to find these details out for you. If I can't get you the answer before the con. We can work something out at the con...Typically I sell professional prints to help me cover some equipment costs. We can talk details at the con...if you want prints or the jpegs.

Hi, would it be possible to reserve two slots for the same shoot? Because our photographer have some panels to attend (well, as a panelist) and still doesn't have his schedule up, meaning we're a 'wild card' for him between two times sunday.
So it would be for a Vampire Knight shoot, 4 cosplayers and 1 photographer (unless some friends decide to take pictures as well) Sunday at 2 and at 4PM.

Oh and ya, I'll tell you as soon as he gets his schedule which of the 2 slots would be the best ^^

Oh gosh, sorry for the editing, but would it be possible to reserve saturday at 2PM as well? For a Bleach photoshoot, I'll bring whoever wants to come from the Bleach photoshoot at 1-2PM ^^

I am surprised that there is not a Final Fantasy photoshoot happening!? I will be Sephiroth (AC Version), and was hoping that there would be more FF Cosplayers wanting a photoshoot..

Well, if you're there friday, what about one at 7PM? We'll be a Tseng, Rude, Tifa and Elena ^^ I don't think Reno will be able to come though, she's the one in charge of pinminlink, so ya... We'll be lucky enough if she can be there at 4 (a private photoshoot with Henrickson, if you ever want to come, it doesn't cost a thing and he normally put his best pics on DA and send them in their original size to the cosplayers later on ^^). Same for Cissnei and the other Rude, they're also guess links. There will also be a Versus from FF13 hanging with us though ^^

Oh, before I forget, I'd like to reserve the sunday 3PM spot for a Vampire Knight shoot, our friend finally got his schedule and we'll do our private shoot with him at 2PM, leaving us with enough time with him before the studio shoot ^^ Unless he can also take pics at the studio at the same time you do, then I'd reserve at 2PM instead of 3 and we'll directly come with him (he mainly do it for free just to practice his photography skills, and for us to have some pics of our cosplay ^^).

I was just reading The*Fallen*One*'s posting and I stopped at the beginning when he asked why they're weren't anymore Final Fantasy Cosplayers booking photoshoot time...I had to stop right there he made me think yeah why?

I think some people think that if you book a shoot you have to pay...THE PHOTOSHOOT AREA IS FREE!!! Its just if you want a cd copy the nice people at the con are selling the pics burnt on a cd.

Start booking away peeps THE DEADLINE IS THURSDAY JULY 23RD!!!
