Salad Time Soldiers performing LINK at Garasu no Shi con 2009 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFt-mEOG4zY).
The Salad Time Soldiers are a Sera Myu (Sailor Moon musical) tribute group based mostly in Ohio. They officially debuted at Ohayocon in 2008 and returned again in 2009. They gave a full performance at Garasu no Shi con in 2009. Since then they have recasted and they are currently looking for Sailor Mercury, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus, and Sailor Uranus. They are also looking for understudies for all roles as well as Stage Ninjas. We prefer that all applicants be 18+, but if you're underage email the admin for the site and something would be worked out.
You don't need to be able to sing. You don't even need to be good at dancing. If you're willing to work hard and learn your dances, and give us a good effort, then you will have no problems. For now, we are not planning any vocal performances.
Trying out is a two-part process. First is the application (http://www.saladtime.org/apply.php). It is important to read the rules (http://www.saladtime.org/rules.php) first before applying. You will fill out an application and submit it to us. We will review your application; approved applicants will be auditioned. We do video auditions. Basically you record yourself doing the dance and upload it to a server where it can be downloaded (such as megaupload). Please make sure that the music can be heard if you cannot edit the song audio into the video you record. Before beginning practices with us, you will be required to fill out some forms.
