Interesting idea.

I've been racking my brain on how exactly I could make Edgar's armor, and after looking over it again, and again, and yet again, a thought had occured to me.

His armor looks alot like football shoulder pads. So, here's what I want to know. Does anyone think this is a good idea to try? I was thinking I could either make an attempt to find a pair of vintage leather shoulder pads, or try and modify the newer shoulder pads by wrapping them in leather or something of the like.

I need some input so I don't look like a total ass when I try this.

Either that or use elbow pads from roller-blading or somethin' and cover it up with material ^^' It could strap to your sholder easily

I made some Celes epaulette thingies, and for those I used milk gallon jugs. The plastic cuts extremely well, and it's easy to glue/tape fabric onto it. The evil part was getting them to stay on...industrial strength velcro is really kind of wussy >< If I ever wear it again I will try mounting tape since that sticks to bricks.
