hi i am new here there i am a canadien from montreal and a big fanatic of anime,japanese movies and music ,mostly rock xjapan,dir en grey,malice mizer and more. I think the only convention there was in montreal was last year and i knew about it today I mist this. I hope there will be one this year cuz i would like to cosplay. My question is do you know some basic techniques and stuff that i need if i want to make up a little bit like in visual rock(x japan,dir en grey,malice mizer,due le quartz,kaggra,nightmare,blood,gakct,etc) and you guys do you buy your costumes all made or you do it your selfs thank you. My anglish is kinda bad sorry and is there a way to have the cartoon network whit vod in montreal if somebody knows plz tell me http://www.theanimenetwork.com

and by the way i am a black poeple so if i want to look like japanese poeple i might be to also make up my neck and chest and cover the rest of my body whit a costume

......? are you for real? You don't have to put makeup on to make yourself look asian... it's ok.

ooo~ go for the opposite... like, if you do mana, do her makeup in white, since ur skin will prolly be dark already. but i think it would be awesome if you could go as urd (ah my goddess)~~~

but most people make their costumes. buying it is pretty expensive for us poor folks XD

so your taling me just put my makeup but keep my skin the way it is just put it a little clearer

no, like use actual makeup in white... like, do a negative version of mana (ie, she uses black lipstick, use white)
