Thats the look Im going for.. I just really need help with getting the "juicy" or "wet" look for the face and blood. Its a REALLY nice mask and it was only 20 dollars. I was just wondering if there is anything to add to the latex so i can get a juicy effect to make it more realistic... anyone know of any product? please help... thanx in advance...
===I guess i should have mentioned it but just in case it makes a difference... this is a latex mask that u adhere to ur face====

First of all, you need to be sure that whatever you use won't ruin the mask.
Silicon or latex, either of the two, will give you that look. You can find various brands online. Try Google-ing it.
For wet blood, buy some fake blood. The kind that comes in bottles, not caplets or squeeze-packs. There was one very nice brand that I once used (I can't remember the brand name offhand) that was VERY realistic, and was non-toxic. I'll see if I can't dredge up the brand name from my and my friends' memories.

Most any transparent glue would work. Wierdly enough, fray stop has a nozle for tiny details and gives a clear, 'wet' look after it dries. Several layers migh tbe needed, depending.

thanx for the ideas.. if you can think of the name for the fake blood that would be great.. Ill probably end up going to an arts and craft store and getting the fray stop or some kind of medium gloss to put on it. Cant wait for halloween... only 17 days left!!!!

Oil based red stage makeup always gives the illusion of wet, sticky blood (there's a pic in my gallerie of a "zombie arm" that I did), and most Halloween stores (if you catch them now, you can get good deals on the stuff) will have a brand that's non-toxic. The stuff I have comes in a clear tube with a snap off end, and is a little like gel.

I'm not experienced in this area but from what i've read, i think Yunalesca's idea sounds best. That's my two yen's worth. :japan: (pardon the cheezy joke...i'm just in that kind of mood today)
