Yeah. Just wondering if anyone has any tips or idea on how to cover up a nice LONG birthmark I have. Should I ever want cosplay... uh... like my Princess Mars cosplay maybe... would like to make it look as close as possible which would mean trying to cover up my left arm that is covered in a nice red birthmark from my wrist to mid-upper arm.
XD Any ideas?

Doesn't she have gloves for the princess outfit? Or does it go past that? All I can think of would require either a ton of blending of cake makeup, or using foundation for all of your skin that shows. Even with using a sealant, there's a pretty good chance that it could smudge and stain your clothing. So you might just have to live with it, or see if there's a way you can tweak the gloves so they cover it completely.

Aww, darn. Then I would suggest trying to find a cake makeup that will match your skin as closely as possible and grinding some off the cake and mixing it with sealant, instead of the usual water-and-hydra-sponge method. Go a little bit at a time, blending with a paper towel or napkin as you go to try to make it look as natural as possible. And try not to touch your costume with that area too much when you're wearing it. Makeup and cosplay can be a tricky combination.

Dermablend makeup is designed specifically to cover birthmarks, tattoos, and such like. It's available at many department stores or at makeup supply stores.

I would also recommend Dermablend. If you have a professional makeup supplier near you, they will also sell tattoo cover.
