Color confused!

As you can see in my siggy, I'm cosplaying Mana from the Beast of Blood video. However, I seem to be having a small issue. One of the pictures shows them with a sepia filter over the picture giving it a brownish tint. THEN I find a CD cover and it's black. I haven't seen the video, so if someone could pretty please with sugar on top tell me what color his wig is, they get much luff from me.

It depends, the black and white one is the video and such, which is filmed (or supposed to look like it was filmed depending on who you ask) in black and white.

However, for live performances, this was not the case, there is color in real life.

Having done the Yu~ki for both, I reccomend doing the live, which does not require a lot of make-up and such and is therefore more comfortable.

Just depends on if you're doing live or the video...good luck!

The black CD cover seems to be more realistic, because you can tell in the sepia cover, that their clothes are black, they just look tinted because of the sepia effect. Now, if Mana is the one with the violin, then the wig is black.

Okay, this made me go take a look myself. ^_^;

In the CD booklet and on the promo poster, the photos are done in extremely high contrast so Mana's hair is almost indentical in shade to Yu~ki's (that is...so intensely black it's reflecting blue in that lighting.)

In that "sepia-toned" photoshoot where they're in the school (Vicious 8-2001) Yu~ki's hair is still the extreme end of the spectrum (the purest black in that available contrast) wheras Mana's is not the same and is not that deep an intensity.
It's still black, but off-black (like a 1B) - it's -really- subtle, so this is totally your call on what wig you'd like, tho.

hmm...yeah, i just watched the video today and I looked at the pics too...well, like it was said before, Mana's hair is a lighter color than black black, but I guess it is easier to go with black if you cant find the EXACT color...don't go with brown, at least I dont believe it would bring about the whole gothic look that i think Mana tries to pull off in beast of blood (which is awesome ^^)
