AMV Contest this year?

Theres nine more days until Anime Overdose, and I have a huge question that maybe you all can help me with. I had glanced over the site and read over something about a AMV contest, but Id like to hear it from ya'll if you know there is going to beone for sure.

My friend is going for the sole purpose to share his vid, and I didnt want him to drive all the way to San Francisco if there isnt a contest!

There is definately a contest. VideoOD will be screening the winners on Saturday evening.

Im not sure if this is the right time to ask, but where and when should paticipants sign up?
I'll check the site again and when I arrive on Friday check the schedule, but it would be nice to have a heads up ^_~
