AX 2003-Anaheim-Hotels...

Well, I was doing some "homework" online regarding the hotels in the area surrounding the Anaheim Convention Center, and for the dates of AX2003, the three hotels that are adjacent to it, the Marriott, Hilton, and West Coast-something, all don't have availability. What's up with that!?

I'm doing hmwk on this cuz I seriously don't want to have to deal with commuting by car next year, plus having to transport at least 8 people...

Ooo.. this stuff hurts my head. But, I think I've already found a great hotel for me and my friends to stay at. It's got a good price and its location is pretty good as well. I just gotta talk to my friends about it.

So, does anyone know why the hotels there are all booked up for that weekend?

Booked up?! *falls over* Oh man. Maybe it's one of those things where they just haven't released the rooms yet? Guess somebody better talk direct to one of the hotels . . .

they're not sold out like the webpage will say. Just give them a call. I think the reason why it says sold out is because it's too far in advance as far as online booking goes. Sure it'll let u put in the dates for 03 but the hotel probably doesn't have their records synced up with the website etc... Actually i went to the convention centers webpage and they said the closest hotel was the: desert palm inn and suites. They're right across the street from the convention center. The webpage boasts that the convention center and disneyland are both 200 yards away from the front door. ^_^; Room rates are pretty cheap too 89 a night for up to 4 people or 169-179 for a suite depends on which kind u get....

oh yeah and the rooms have microwave and refrigerators too. U know what that means cheap food =D just go to a grocerystore nearby and stock up on enough food to feed u for all 4 days plus u can actually go out to eat and bring home leftovers and not worry about them spoiling from lack of refrigeration.
