Basically, you run around in costume and have fun and look pretty (or not, depending on the charecter), and oogle other people running around in costume having fun and looking pretty. If you're particularly daring (I'm not), most cons have some sort of Massquerade or Cosplay contest and you can win awayds and stuff. As for Kohaku, it would really depend on which outfit you're trying to do, but most of his seem to be leggings with a long overcoat, with various trim and jewelry. Legging patterns are easy to find, overcoat ones, I've got one for an overcoat that closes in the front, although easily modifiable to close at the side. You'd also have to modify the neckline to be rounded instead of v-neck...if you feel like trying that, I could try to hunt down the name and number of it later. Hope that helps ^^

If you're asking about a convention, there's lots to do there ^_^ I don't go to Florida conventions so I don't know much about those 2, but if you go to the convention's website it'll tell you about all of the activities that will be going on.

There are usually panels, dealers rooms, masquerades, and even DDR at conventions. You really shouldn't get bored at a convention ^_^

Hmmm...to me, the bottom looks like leggings with a long skirt over it, with some decoration at the bottom edges, which you could try doing in fabric paint, or embroidery if you're good enough. Cloth sash at the waist, that's simple enough. As for the top, that pic's too small for me to tell. Good luck! You gotta love CLAMP and their beautiful outfits ^^
