Female duo ideas?

well here goes... i have never cosplayed before and niether has my friend but we are both planning on doing so for anime boston coming up in april. ive been wracking my brain trying to think of a good female dup to cosplay as, and i just cant come up with anything. Everyone good that i think of is either a large group or a trio. I would really appreciate it if someone had an idea, if they could throw it out for me. Nothing too complex (my sewing skills are still developing) thanks

You don't have to be two females if you don't want to....but if it is two females I think you should first ask your selves: What is my favorite anime? and What characters do I like? Try picking something easy if it is your first costume. I'm hoping to see pictures when your done. Oh and welcome ^_^

in all honesty my first choice would have to be , hands down, miaka and yui. but.... she already shot that down, basically she didnt wanna be a cranky blonde. *shrugs*

i was thinking utena and anthy. but... my friend (who is not quite the rabid otaku like myself) watched the movie and decided that since she didnt understand it, it was wierd. lol when i first propsed we cosplay she said " ok as long as it doesnt include me being naked and morphing into a car"

well ive always had my heart set on being the priestess of suzaku*sighs dreamily* maybe i can convince my friend that yui equally as cool.

Yui's priestess outfit is very pretty, maybe you can convince her yet. Use the angle that Yui isn't cranky, she's misunderstood. ^_~

Or, do Suzaku no Miko anyways and pick another pair to do with your friend.

well after looking around i came upon an idea. what do u guys think of excel and hyatt from excel saga?

Sounds good. If you want to do a trio though you could do Lime, Bloodberry, and Cherry from Saber Marionette J. They are a bit difficult though.

I second the Utena & Anthy and Haruka and Michiru. They aren't difficult really at all.

The Chi thing is good, but if you pick their dresses... ooooh, headache. That would kill me. But if you have good sewing skill, go for it! ^_^

Anyway, it looks like you already decided. Just be sure whoever is Excel is the loudest and most annoying of the two of you.. *shivers at the sound of Excels voice* *shiver* ((no offense to excel, I like the series.. ^_~ ))

How about Miyu and Lava.Lava wears a long cloak and no one has to know lava is a female under that cloak.Excel saga is good also.My opnion isn't worth much but hey you never know.
