I haven't given it a full con run, but you can get spray-on pantyhose (e.g. Sally Hansen's Airbrush Legs (http://www.sallyhansen.com/airbrush_legs.cfm)) in a darker color. It washes off fairly well with soap and water.. But as I said, I haven't tested it extensively, so I don't know how well it stands up. If you try it, though, let us know how it works for you. :)

Actually, I have discovered that Neutrogena's tanning foam works very well for a convincable tan and washes ou in just 1-2 washes, depending on how long it is left on. It is fairly cheap and you can pretty much get it in any drug store you can find (if you live in the US, like me lol ^_^)

I would be careful with the airbrush legs a shade too dark. It's what I use on my Wrath costume when I need one tan arm and leg and the rest of me pale, and I have to be VERY careful about when I wear that costume; if I don't wash it off completely and within about ten hours, it can slightly stain my skin for a few days. You don't really notice, but it still bugs me. It works, but it's pretty scary.

Hanyaan, that stuff you use for wrath SCARES me. Seeing that footprint outlined in flesh coloured makeup grease in our hotel bathrub was just... Disturbing.
And yet funny, at the same time. XD
Does anyone know of a fairly dark (as in, almost yamanba tan) tanner that'll come off fairly fast? I don't need it off in 1-2 washes, as I've got a bunch of tan characters to cosplay, but I don't want it for more than a few weeks. ^^
