Greetings all, I'm a n00b here who was told about this place by Ranma Soatome. Not sure if you guys know him, or what he goes by here, but at any rate, I'm interested in cosplaying at the next con I attend *months away* an I need a few opinions on who I could pull off...

2 Notes:

I Don't do female characters.

I don't do elaborate Robots/Megaman style chibi androids. Human(oid) characters only.

I'll post one picture with this post, then post another in a second.

Thanks in advance, all!

That is all... For now...

You might be able to pull off Vash the Stampede, if you can make that coat! X.x

And the hair, of course!

Just a suggestion. ^^

But... I don't look anything like anyone from DBZ, lol...

If those responses stem from the picture where I'm posing, I was just goofing off; those are old.

I want to know if there's anyone I could pull off somewhat accurately, not who I look like I'd want to be able to do.

That is all... For now...

Anyone could pull off DBZ characters. I've got two male members in my club going as Gohan and Trunks to the Shoujo con, and believe me, they don't look anything like Trunks or Gohan, but with a nice wig and some hair gel, the right costumes and such, you can pull it off pretty accurately.
You may be able to pull off Miroku from Inu Yasha.
You may also want to ask yourself: 1. What anime do I like? 2. Who would I enjoy cosplaying as? and such...
Also evaluate your skill level. Don't try something too hard.
Accuracy can be a variety of different ways. Costumes and props could be accurate and the person won't enjoy cosplaying as that character. It's really up to you, take into concideration your body type, hight, guidelines, season of the con (don't wear a heavy costume to a summer con...i was sweating last year).
Good luck choosing.
