My fav is Otakon 'cause it's really been the only one I've gone to. It's def worth looking into if you want to go to a good (and really fun!) con...

Otakon was fun! -_- but I was there for only one day because I had to go to summer school the next two days. >_< My parents can be soo annoying!

@_@ I saw lots of dealers and admirable cosplayers! I remember the big cute and fluffy monkey in a silver diaper walking around ^_^ I remember petting this really cute plushy dragon from Gensomaden Saiyuki and getting a shounen-ai commission! And all the fun walking around! I love it!

i'm canadian sooo...right now i only attend CN Anime and AnimeNorth.

CN Anime is pretty...not good with cosplayers. I, personally haven't had any problems, but I guess some other people have. Being called 'little kids' n whtnot. It's also split between Sci-fi and Comic-con so the Anime portions is pretty small. =\ But it's a GREAT time to meet people and hang out n stuff..

AnimeNorth, is a fan-run, non-profit convention. ( all profit goes to charity ^^ ). The dealers room is pretty big n a nice variety. @_@ Cosplayers are EVERYWHERE and everyone is INCREDIBLY friendly and nice. there's hardly any discrimination like I've heard happens at american cons ( no offense in any way, please. ^^ ). everyone really loves meeting eachother and taking group photos and everything. GREAT GREAT con with GREAT GREAT ppl and experiences. ^^

i cant say much for american cons tho...hopefully maybe next year i can go to one! ^0^

I reeeeallly want to go to Otakon, but my parents will only pay for one a year (being BAAF) *grumbles* so I hafta save up...god knows how I'm going to do that with costume costs and everything...

Anyway, I've only been to one con so far *ish also a newbie* and it was AXNY 02...it was really very fun, but it's not coming back to NYC for a WHILE, if ever. I hear the regular AX in Anahiem is awesome, though.
