Nuriko Cosplay Help?

Hi, everyone! I'm new here, and I'm planning to cosplay as Kourin!Nuriko to a couple of cons. Now, I got a cheongsam that I plan to wear (since I and everyone I know agree that Nuriko's kimono would Not Look Good on me. :rolleyes: ), so that bit's okay.

But since I'm not going to be wearing a Nuriko!kimono, I have to make the rest as like him as possible. Which means purple hair dye, hair spray, a little mole, pale face powder, etc. etc. Whatever. But I'm having trouble with his bracers--namely, I don't know what I'm going to do about them. :confused: Help? I do want bracers, not bracelets, but I can't find anyone who sells them or any plans for making them. Grrrr. :mad:

Anyone got any ideas? Please? *hopeful look*

U can try places like OrangeAngel.com who take jewelry commissions...
We're running into the same problem with our Nuriko costume...but one of our members is in a jewelry class...and is going to attempt them..
