Went to AXNY last year and had tons of fun, but saw all the cosplayers and really really wanted to do it! So now I'm working on my Pop Yuna, and I have til BAAF to do it. :\ I hope I can do a good job on it! I'm kind of a perfectionist so I have a feeling it'll turn out okay.

I'll post piccies when I'm done ^^;;

Btw, any highschool students here? I live in NJ, and my parents will take and pay for BAAF cuz it's so close...I really wanna go to Otakon as well, though...how do you teens get your parents to take you to so many cons? Mine will probably only pay for one a year *pouts*

Mine are the same as yours about paying for only one a year for me- that's why I have to pay for Otakon by myself ><; I'm just a poor student without a job and that seems impossible at the moment.

*nods* I've been thinking of paying for Otakon myself...ergh, but with that and my mom expects me to help pay for the fabric for my costume...when I've already payed for Yuna's necklace and the cordless mic X_X Gah! I'm going to have NO money to pay for anime/games! *cries*

Welcome. I pay for my own too (high schooler also). I get some money for running the club...if the club goes, I get a discount. I've been to the Shoujo con and AnimeNEXT this year I'm planning for more...including the BAAF. ^_^ Hope to see you there.

^_^ Cool I was at Axny, I was the neko boy got poorly smacked by Squall on stage. I fall good.. ^-^ but other then that I hope be at the next Baaf. Good luck on your costumes.

I never ask for um.. anything. So a con here and there out of state isn't a big deal for my parents. Usually it would be an award. ^_^; Like when I graduated high school (I tested out early), I got to go to A-kon. I forget what I did to go to Otakon back in '01.. meh. Yeah. Wow, I don't think I helped at all. X_x; *runs away*

As for going to cons, I pay for them myself (which is why I don't go to too many). I have stupid job which I hate that allows me to pay for them.

Michi you're really lucky! I don't ask for much either but my parents are all "I believe you should be paying for your own interests" -_- Hehe, only thing was my mom had lots of fun at AXNY so she's willing to pay for that one...

Anywho I'm beginning my job search todai ^_^ I WILL go to Otakon!!

I just finished my own cosplay outfit- getting the materials was a birthday present- also, most of my money comes from my job, which i dislike much. Either Pop Yuna looks different and it will be fun to see when completed! ^_^

I'm a highschooler, and yesh, I pay for my own cons. Well, kidn of. A lot of the stuff I get to do is based on academic achievement so basically if I keep my grades up in the A to B range, I've got it made.
