hey all. anyone have any suggestions on making dagger's necklace? all i can think of is cracking a crystal globe in half, sodering an attachment to it, and string it on a chain. but i think that would ... weigh a few pounds!!!! hmm. anyone have any bright ideas?

I know Erika Door used part of a chandelier. ^____^
I've seen ridiculously large crystal-looking pendants at Hobby Lobby before, in the bead section. If there's one near you that might work.

bugger. nevermind. there are no stores in CA.
Ah, that sucks.. guess it's an east coast thing. You might could find something at Michael's or JoAnn Etc. or any other crafty-type stores around.

Any antique stores in the area? They often times have vintage baubles and such, and I've seen some that resemble Garnet's necklace ^^

I made one a few years ago (sorry I don't have pics). I bought a 50mm swarovski octagon shaped crystal prism off of ebay for about $12. It came with a hole drilled at the top, and a silver loop to place in the hole. I stuck it on a long chain and that's where it's been ever since.
Nowadays they go for around $20, and it IS pretty heavy to wear, but in my opinion, it's the most accurate solution to what the pendant in the game looks like.
Here's a professional pic of the crystal: http://imagehost.auctionwatch.com/bin/imageserver.x/00000000/xinacat/p811550.jpg

It's pretty large for a crystal, hehe. I think mine is about 2 inches x 2 inches...
