yeah. o-o i have an odd taste, i know~ D:
http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/8692/lolitalr2.jpg its... intresting. not sure if i will ever make it. it seems like not a very good idea anymore. O_o;; it did a year ago when i first drew this, though... xD (the other ones are all from within the last month or so)
http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/3262/lolita2dd9.jpg i actually made this one. its light blue. <3 i needed a use for my random light blue fabric. xD i tried to not make it too sweet and cute, as i like the more gothic side of lolita, but oh well. XD
http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/7671/purplevelvetor6.jpg what you get when you give a girl some purple velvet and tell her to desgin a dress for it.... :P
http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/2482/utakatand5.jpg "utakata" PV (amano tsukiko) inspired. i actually took an element from the utakata PV for the last one up there (the one that would be in purple velvet), but that does not matter.
what do you think of them? i dont do much lolita design, as i have little inspiration, but i lolve lolita fashion. <3 (i have other desgins that are not lolita, and if anyone wants to see them, just ask.)

Oh those are so cute. The last one is soooo adorable.
I like them, and I think they would look good made, but they aren't exactly lolita. They fall more under the class of erololi, or erotic lolita. The main reason is that none of them have arms. If you put a shirt under them, then it would be regular lolita.

thanks. ^-^
the thing is, i know about erorori and all that stuff. i know it all like the back of my hand. its juse that i do not agree perfectly with those rules and think taht regular lolita, if done correctly, can be sleeveless, as i think that more than juse the sleeves make it ero, such as the skirt length, the materials, the styling, etc. etc.
but i think i am the only person in the world that feels this way. :P

No you're not alone... My latest lolita dress was sleeveless, and I don't find it erotic in any way. It was designed to accomodate my pregnant belly, and it's kinda long (I plan on adding a few things when I reshape it for my normal measurements... right now it's too simple, it needs bows and more ribbons !)

this was revived? :P heh. well, i guess here they all are. i have more that i need to scan, though. better ones. >>
and i need to scan all the coloured versions. XD
http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/742/decora1fv0.jpg eh, its not that good, i think. XD
http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/2083/ddrpadkh9.jpg yes, it is a DDR pad. yes, i am actually going to make it, as soon as i find my lining fabric.
http://img158.imageshack.us/img158/4571/sweaterur7.jpg i dont like it. >>
http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/7215/peacockdresseb1.jpg finally getting into the good stuff. <3 this is after i became serious about becoming a desginer and not just some random girl with a notebook and a pencil. :P it is peacock inspired~~ <3
http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/287/honeykr2.jpg ever wondered what happens when you give a desginer a notebook and the song HONEY? by amano tsukiko. :P
http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/9410/wadachijj4.jpg see above statement but replace "HONEY?" with "wadachi".
http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/6215/moevt1.jpg based off of the song "moe". just a random inspiration~
http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/3336/butterfingersmc2.jpg another song? :O this was based off of the song "butter fingers" (amano again), and is my favourite design i have done. my friend wants me to make it for prom. like that will ever happen. :P since it was originally for a contest to design something for an amano song that does not have a PV, i took advantage of her body type as it was about 4 1/2 - 5 years ago, when se was still thin, but had soft curves. not an easy body type to find, but very much fun to design for. <3
i do not even like the majority of these anymore and need to scan in some newer and coloured ones.

Alright, I'm going to be completely honest here. I'm not the biggest fan of these. The first four, it seems like stuff is randomly stuck on in places. Like having just one sleeve falling down, or ruffles down the back, or the corset lacing on the side. The last ones don't even look remotely lolita-related to me.

I like the second one because my random crap design showed through. ^_^

i hated the random corset lacing after i drew that, i changed it to a pocket, sorry that it is not reflected here.
the one with the random sleeve falling down i personally love. it is supposed to have the look of an unkept doll, a sorrowful sort of look becuase of how run-down it is. i do have odd taste, as i said earlier, and i realize that not everyone likes the same kind of desgins that i like. none of these are perfectly strict lolita by the stiff rules used by many, and are not meant to be, they are meant to be lolita, yes, but of a diffrent sort than normal.
i can see your point on the ruffles down the back of the dress that is meant to be in purple velvet (is that one coloured? i do not think so...), and i would love to take suggestions on how to improve it instead of jsut being told that it looks "stuck on".
the first dress i hate and was my very firest design ever, i only posted it because i drew it and wanted to show how my tastes have evolved.
and the last set of desgins in my last post there are not lolita, and are not pretending to be. i stated that in my first post i ahve other non-lolita desgins, and if anyone really wants to see them, then they should say so, and someone requested them, so i posted them.
but thank you for your honest opinion. i hate it when people simply say "0h, it l00x SOOooOOoooOOoo g00d!@11!@~!!2!" without giving any suggestions. now, if only you would suggest how to improve these current desgins and my next desgins, that would be very helpful. i enjoy dissenting opinions, as they can only revise my own tastes and styles and make them stronger, so thank you.

Yeah, I can understand that. I might suggest more of a more deteriorated look as opposed to the addition of extra panels of fabric. Or maybe patches? It just looks a little strange with the multiple lengths. Actually, I don't mind the side panel, but the extra long panel in the back throws me off a bit.

The problem is I really don't know. It would probably look better in execution, but it just looks like too much on paper. Maybe if you put more ruffles on the front to balance it out a bit?

Alright, just checkin. This is an EGL forum after all, and you never know what people will think is lolita.
I hope that at least helped somewhat x_x. I'm glad you appreciate critique though!

nyaaah. some of them are cute, but i'm not too sure they would fall under lolita...
if you gave the long dresses sleeves, they could be aristocrat. also, some of the designs are a bit too revealing to even be erololi. but hey, they make cute punk outfits! ^_^
