Has anyone found any apron patterns that could go over a gothic lolita dress? Like a petifore? (spelling)

Sorry. But, you can try knitting one with thin yarn. That's what I'm doing, and It's turning out really great. Sorry I have nothing else...

I kind of invented one for a skirt I made; I just created a semi-circle that fit the proportions of the skirt, cut two pieces, sewed them together, then added trim and satin ribbon ties to the sides and voila-- little ruffled apron. If you don't want a semicircle it can of course be altered into a square, rectangle, heart, flower, whatever you want. Just be sure you know what the skirt looks like so you can measure where you want the apron to fall on it-- how wide it will be, how long it will be, etc.

I have a really simple pattern, it's not a penafore, just a simple apron my granny first taught me to sew when I was eight. If i can get my acursed scanner to work right I'll gladly share it with everyone here.
