All right, I'm not totally sure where this goes, but I guess fangs count as an accessory? I'm looking for a good brand of prosthetic fangs or a good method for making them. For different costumes, I need all of my front teeth pointed and canines only. Thank you :3

I recomend scarecrow fangs. I work at a cosume shop and I got to demo them last october. They still fit nicely and they they look as good as the day I got them. I could talk normaly in them the first time I tried but that could just be because I have an overbite. I even ate in then once because I forgot I had them on and they didn't move.

you can get these really neat ones that just snap onto your teeth. I'm sorry I cant remember what they are called but they are custom made and probably a bit expensive, however you dont need adhesive (denture glue?)

Another question: I've got some Scarecrow fangs. And they come with a glue, but the nice guy at the costume shop I went to(which is way out of town for me) told me that it's better to use a denture glue. I however don't remember which one he said. I know the color pink was involved, but I don't know if that's the brand I should avoid or get. So what denture glue is recommended?

ElfinGreen I think we are talking about the same thing. The stuff that comes with the Scarecrow fangs is not glue at all. At least it isn't in the kind we have in the store.
It is a capsule and a small bottle of fluid that you mix according to the instructions and it makes a cast of your tooth. It smells like toothpaste and making the cast had me drooling but it works in under 15 minutes. They have the full instructions here so you know what you are getting in to. http://www.vampfangs.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=3&products_id=6
I find that as long as you make sure your teeth are dry and clean when you make the mold they just snap it to place and hold nicely without any glue. Mine are warn down a little from demoing them all the time but as long as I make sure my teeth are dry they still hold.
My friend wares them heavily and he has warn the casting stuff inside the tooth out a little. He uses the cheep off brand walmart denture glue and some of the fizzy cleaning tabs to keep his fangs looking nice.

I used fake nails and superglue for my fangs. :D
Seriously, superglue is not as dangerous to put on your teeth as it sounds... I had to train myself to talk right so I didn't pop them off accidentally...

nah Shine-Chan the ones I'm talking about involve having a custom mold made of your teeth and generally cost over 100$. My boyfirend has some that he got a a specialty costume store in NYC. He said it was called Sanguinarium I dont even know if they are still open

Avoid the pink kind. You might be able to see it through the fangs. Fixodent Free is the white/clear kind and it works really well for me.

When I tried to use denture adhesive, it didn't work at all for me. :\ Maybe because I bought the generic brand? I held it tight to my teeth for a full minute, and all it did was fall off when I pulled my hand away.

Oof. I found a website that had some really awesome fangs on it-- very pricey, can't remember whether they were custom-molded or not, but they had some interesting styles. I was in particular looking for a set that had upper and lower canines, but the ones this website featured were smaller than Scarecrow's werewolf fangs-- anyone have any idea where that might be?
