I was wondering how do you keep the dress/skirt puffy?

What AZNPRDE420666 said. A petticoat, in case you didn't know, is a skirt made out of stiff material, usually several layers of tulle, that provides support for a skirt. Really, though, any skirt that has body to it can work as a petticoat, as long as it is strong enough to support the material you're using.

Hoops are NOT recommended for EGL.

You can get some from Cosworx, but they're the Leg Avenue ones, and I've not heard anything good about them from G&L peeps. I recommend trolling the EGL livejournal com for a commission--I got mine from there for $30, shipping included.

They're also really easy to make, and I know there's a tutorial out there somewhere... if you can't find it, I'll try to write you one. (I'd look first, though, since I'm not that experienced!)

Does anyone know anything about the petticoats over at Petticoat Junction (http://www.petticoatjct.com)? I know they're geared towards dancers, and they're a bit pricey, but I need a certain color and they're about the only ones I can find who carry it.

In the Starlight doesn't take custom orders, does it?

ETA: They do, nevermind.
