anyone have any idea how to make Garnets crown? I dont know how to start. I wanted to make one cause its so pretty!

Maybe if you posted a pic of it I could be of some use... I've played FFIX but it was a bit back.

Well, I have made the crown for a friend of mine before and it took a lot of pictures/playing the game to get all the details.
Personally, there are two not so hard ways that I've used and one harder way:
1) Using clay, sculpt the pieces and use a silver enamel to color them, and then mount them onto a silver headpiece
2) Same idea, but use fabric and textures to create the pieces and use gesso (a plaster/paint mixture) to stiffen them. Then spray and mount (this technique makes the crown a LOT lighter)
3) The hard way: sculpt the entire thing out of clay and cast it for a plaster mold.
