A friend suggested I cosplay Tifa, but not having plaied the game, I'm not sure if i should (game systems were forbidden in my house, so I never got to play any games ;___; ) Should I try playing the game before I cosplay? I'm just not comfortable with playing a character (reguardless if i look like them) without knowing a bit of their personality.....

Um, I think you should definately play before you cosplay her. Tifa is one of those characters that seems to have mixed yes/no fans. :P
If you aren't comfortable with cosplaying a character you don't know, why are you even asking? ^^; Go play FF7!!

FF7 is a great game to play anyways, so you won't regret playing it.

yea you should def play the game first.....but tifa is one of my favs :)

I agree, I enjoy knowing a character's background and personality.......Aeris' personality and history is what made me want to cosplay her in the first place!
Besides, if you play, you can study her moves and sayings that you can use while in costume. XP

*nod* play the game^^ definitely^^that game got me into cosplaying heheheh and tifa is a really kool charcter i kno ull like her^^
