You might want to try the tonberry costume. It is easy to make or buy.It is nothing more then a monk's robe from the middle ages.Plus a latern and a knife. For the knife i suggest a plastic one to avoid any problems with having a real weapon. As for the head part pretty easy to make.

For a cactuar costume maybe this will work.
Green sweatshirt and sweatpants with black needle things sewn or glued on. A mask and some green gloves will help pull everything together and make you look more like a cactuar.
Hope this helps a bit.

there were a few people on cosplay.com to cosplay cactuar, so you should take a look at them for ideas to make yours unique. I love cactuars! *looks at plushie on bedside (but it's chocobo all the way!)

hey man! Good to see that you finally made it here! You'd make a good cactuar, methinks. Although, take a page from Leilanihime's book and see if you can put cooling fans into the head piece.
See you tomorrow! I need to see Anima's overdrive, hehe...

yeah, i think that cooling fans would be a good idea, its one thing to have a great costume, its another to dehydrate and die in it. :)
