Greetings all,

I'm wondereing, what kind of weapon policy we are going to have?

My plastic stave can do no harm as it's cheap hollow plastic (can't ever twirll it).

But what about gunblades and prop handguns?

Zero weapons for this one, it's a public park.

Admin - Thanks, I was just wondering. I'll leave the staff as home.

Ah, bugger. Looks like I'll have to do those Lupin and Jigen gun poses after the shoot elsewhere.

Kyle: Matt says he wants to bring his buster sword *chuckles*
Erm, he's tugging at my sleeve he says he won't take no for an answer ....no no not the puppy dog eyes!

ok lemme put it this way . . . there is parking very near the picnic area we reserved, so if people want to bring swords and stuff *but* keep it in their cars until we find a place to photograph it unnoticed, then fine.

However, it's still a no to anything gun related.

All right, all right (Removes all bullets from the gun, then puts away in a safe place). I guess I'll start making a new sign.

To the average eye it will appear that the sign that will be brought to the Irvine shoot will look exactly like the sign brought to the Balboa park shoot. But in fact it is a different sign. This one will have some creases that the Balboa sign didn't have (until I dropped it a few times).

It's a good thing my Alucard friend never ordered guns off me for the shoot.

I just read over the agreement and it says no weapons as a matter of policy. So please everyone keep even the fake stuff in their cars until we do any pictures.

*salutes* Hai, Chouka!

Thank goodness my prop "weapon" is juss a microphone lol

I'll make sure to keep that in mind for all costumers as well who are well-known to want to pose with their weapons. I'll simply escort them from cars with fake-weapon covered in cloth or whatever to a proper area for photos, discretely out of the way from public eye, get the job done, and we go on to the next cosplayer.

Thanks admin for clearing that up.

That procedure makes things a bit easier. (Sighs in relief)

Unfortunately the anti-tank rifle doesn't fit in my car so I'll be leaving it home.

If I get the gunblade done by then, I'll keep it out of sight until we take pictures, because it does fall into an interesting category as to whether its "gun related" lol...
