Ugh, yeah I definitely didn't wanna do anime/manga this year. Considering if I'm going to AX this year as Marie Antoinette, I'm definitely showing up to Comic Con as the same character. That as well as Ayumi Hamasaki's Ladies Night (it's just a music video, doesn't count as anime right?)

I'm in the process of making a Xena costume specifically for ComicCon...not to mention I've been in need of a good Xena costume since 6th grade..I out grew it...*cries*

Whole bunch of us are going as Avatar: The Last Airbender characters. Not technically anime, right?

Or so we get told, when we wear the costumes to anime cons... -.-

haha! Yes Avatar people will abound this year.

Also my brother is going as Dr. McNinja and I'm going as an original character.

I'm going as Red Sonja, and my boyfriend as Drizzt Do'Urden :)

I'll be wearing 3 Avatar costumes, and a Legend of Zelda costume (game! not anime/manga!) It looks like I won't be wearing any Anime this year.

SDCC is pretty much one of the only conventions where I bring my non-anime costumes. I typically bring Cho Chang from Harry Potter.

my main costume is anime (motoko kusanagi cyberdance)

but I will bring my girly Cloud and Zora Armor Link twilight princess style
probably for gatherings and such
so only one anime for me so far
then again its only february!
so who knows what other gatherings I decide

I wore Silk Spectre from Watchman last year and I want to remake it to wear it again this year, but we will have to see.

My boyfriend and I are also working on WOW costumes but they might end up being to bulky to wear to SDCC

Ill be making/wearing a comic book raven from teen titans, raven (cartoon one, not anime) from teen titans, maybe poison ivy, and if i do have money probably an avatar costume.

You would think; Comic-Con is an American media convention after all. Anime is what's out of place.
Regardless, I'm wearing Larxene of KH2 and Akari from Aria.

I did a Stargate costume last time, and I'll be rocking a United States Colonial Marine impression this time around, from the movie "Aliens"

I'm going as Red Sonja, and my boyfriend as Drizzt Do'Urden :)

AWESOME! I am a fan of both those things!!!!!!

I'm'a be Aang again, because really, how cool will it be to get the creators of the show to sign my head?

I'm also thinking of doing something from Books of Magic or Lucifer, if I have time. Yum, Vertigo. I agree that anime cosplay doesn't quite fit at Comic-Con. Kind of like having Batman at an anime con--still awesome, but out of place.

Haha, looks like you'll just have to put lots and lots of effort into finding us then!!! :P
