I've seen that most Mononoke cosplayers have that long shaggy hair for San's cape.. but.. I haven't been able to find it anywhere. Where are they getting it? I've looked online and found some matches, but the prices are terrible! Does anyone have any good sites or advice they can give me on this? I attached a picture of what her cape looks like.

Thanks guys!

i don't know where those cosp-ers get it from, but for my sister's ryo-ohki head-wear thingy, we went to joannes. they had lots of fur. in big rolls, and some in like...two-3 inch rolls.

I have a retired Mononoke cape. I used a sheepdog kid halloween costume, cut off all the grey and re-sewed all the white fur. If your interested in purchaseing the cape, just PM me and we can talk more over price and shipping ^-^

The crazy thing is that I bought 10 yards of that long white fur last year for a project my friend was working on O_O.. and it;s just sitting around now.... For a limited time Jo-ann's had the kind of fur that most toy plushie makers seem to use, and it's also the same one used on the big Sully figure for the Monsters Inc. promotions nationwide. It's by far the best quality faux faur I have ever seen... can't describe it well except for it flutters and flows when you lightly blow on it *o*
Stacey, how many yards do you need? lol I can probably sell you the amount ^_^
