Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for material to use as the foundation of plate(looking) armor for a Might Set outfit. I'm pretty sure I could flesh out the details, but of course any ideas for any aspect of the costume are welcome.
Don't worry about weapons/shields, those are separate and I will have no problem making those. :P What I REALLY need is a workable foundation for breastplate and shoulders, as well as a way to make greaves (legs) look plate-ish without restricting movement too terribly and (preferably) without spending a ton of cash.
Thanks in advance for you input!

Seems word around here is that Wonderflex works pretty spiffy for armor. I haven't used it yet, I tried Amethyst Angel's styrene & foam method which worked great for gauntlets and hip armor but not so good for the chest armor I was crafting.

There's a tutorial for Wonderflex if you search the main pages, it's probably your best bet.
