Behold!

I finished writing up the tutorial for making these glowing fairy companions (http://images.cosplay.com/showphoto.php?photo=967521) from Legend of Zelda and posted it to the Zelda forum.

Tutorial can be found HERE (http://forums.cosplay.com/showthread.php?p=1865073#post1865073).

Enjoy!

That's so adorable! Once I saw that, I had the idea for adding a motor inside to make the wings twitch to look like they were flapping (especially applicable for making a Golden Snitch). Great job on the work and the tutorial!

And uh....What about us who have NO understanding of putting the electrical doohickeys together and making it glow?

Damaskas:

This is the most basic of basic electrical circuits which I realistically know nil about. I got a lot of help here on the forums, and read up on searches for posts relating to LED circuits.

All of these components I got at RadioShack, and used trial and error making sure the right ends of the switch and light bulb connected to the correct sides of the battery!
