View Full Version : Selling Utena Ohtori Costume and Fabrics

Up for sale is my Ohtori Uniform that I made and wore for Acen. This costume is washed and ready to be sent on to its newest owner as I have no plans to wear it again.

Since I am a BIG girl, this costume would be a plus sized costume. My measurements are 46-40-48 and it fit me a bit loose in the waist. The shirt was designed to fit a busty girl and it accomidated my chest size well (E cup for reference.....). The shirt has buttons down the front of it for functionality. Whereas this differs from the designs in the artbook (which the outfit was based from), I figured that functionality was better than to forego comfort of getting into it. Also, the pictures don't show it, but the sleeves do indeed puff when they are worn. Without arms on my dressform it makes them hang oddly, but when worn they do puff and are rather cute.

The tie around the neck attaches to the shirt underneath the collar by a snap on either side of the shirt. The white band around the tie comes completely off as I made it accurate to the artbooks style of removal of the ties.

The skirt has a hidden zipper as well as three buttons for closure. Also because of the length of the skirts in the series this skirt is VERY short. However I made the skirt longer in the back than in the front. It is approximately 4 inches shorter in the front than the back. The front measures 12 inches in the front and 16 inches in the back from the waistband.

Please view the photos for reference.

Next up I have 12 yards of Cranberry Casa Satin. I bought this to make Shiori's rosebride dress from Utena and frankly, I find that my heart isn't in it. I paid $8/yard for this satin but I am willing to negotiate a price for it. I am also willing to cut it, but I would rather find somebody to take it all if possible.

I also have 2 yards of a lighter colored rose casa satin. I bought this for the inner panel of the front of Shiori's dress. This is also for sale.

I haven't photographed the fabric, but if you would like photos, I can take them on request.

Also, I am cross posting this. If you see this more than once, I apologize.

Here are the photos that I just took. I'm sorry for not having taken them before but I needed to wait for my husband to help me move the totes of fabric around since my shoulder is currently injured ^^;;;

Thank you. I honestly have cosplayed her rose bride form YEARS ago and I find that this fabric is a lot more suiting to her dress than what was used back then from the person I commissioned it from.

Even if not for Shiori it would make a beautiful dress or anything for that matter.

I'm very interested in the fabrics. Since computer moniters don't do colors justice, I was wondering if the colors would be right for this costume: http://rpgfan.com/pics/abarenbou-princess/art-02.jpg. Please pm me if possible, thanks!

I think it woudl work quite well for your costume Miyori since that color is a bit less maroon and more of the berry color that this is. I am PMing you now.

For the record, this costume will be going on ebay tonight. Link to follow once it is up.
